A Historical Treasure

The property's rich history began in the mid-1700s and was later sold to Samuel Wragg, a planter and political figure. Wragg erected the Manor House to entertain business and political comrades of the day.

The Manor House at Wedgefield Plantation is one of the premier wedding and event venues in South Carolina. The amazing Manor House, live oaks, cottages, courtyards, patios, and scenery combine to deliver an unforgettable experience.

Looking for a space to host that relaxed and informal event? Then consider our Magnolia Room with bar, side patio, and gorgeous courtyard teeming with a majestic oak and lush fauna. Or perhaps the Magnolia Room with bar and back courtyard overlooking the 18th
fairway may meet your occasion needs.

The perfect place for any special occasion

If you don’t need the outside option, then the Magnolia Room and adjacent bar may be what you desire. If you are interested in booking a large event, full rental of the Manor House and grounds is available. The Ballroom along with adjoining interior rooms accommodates comfortably and is a stunning setting for the memory of a lifetime.

We would be delighted to show you around the Manor House and surrounding grounds and assist you in designing the wedding, rehearsal dinner, birthday, or reunion of your dreams. For small meetings, we recommend our Cypress room, next to the pro shop.
